Great Connection offers a patent protected SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) solution that enables clinics and hospitals to convert, deliver and receive medical images in a secure, economic and timely way.
Images and reports sent via email, SMS & MMS
A single push of a button initiates the image or video transfer directly from the ultrasound system/machine or imaging software to our cloud server. From there the image is automatically forwarded to the patient’s or doctor’s phone or email in a matter of seconds. The report and the images can be viewed in a web interface and downloaded to a computer via a login routine.
Besides the DICOM communication engine, the portal also features a DICOM viewer, image management functionalities and cloud storage of DICOM images.
The solution is FDA approved, HIPAA compliant and features state of the art security. Our services are sold Rx Only wich means that you have to be a certified user of ultrasound machines for medical indicated ultrasounds to purches our technology.
An Internet connection is all that’s required at the clinic, hospital or doctor’s office. The system is totally agnostic, it works with all ultrasound systems, all imaging softwares, all Internet browsers and all pacs and mobile phones. The system can act as a light version of a PACS or co-exist with any other solution. There is no new hard- or software investments required and no need for large system integration projects.
It takes only 5 minutes to activate the service on an ultrasound system, and it can be done remotely. The service has been developed in close co-operation with its users so it takes only a few minutes to learn how to operate it.
